PART TIME - GOLF CENTRE ASSISTANT - YORK GOLF RANGE

York Golf Range is a modern hi-tech golf driving range, there is also a 9 hole golf course, 9 hole FootGolf course, Crazy Golf Course, Coffee Bar and Golf Shop.

We have a part-time Job Vacancy for a customer service assistant helping to serve customers of the shop, golf range and golf course.

The main duties are:
• Welcome and serve visitors and members in the shop and reception.
• Issue tickets for range balls.
• Issue green fee tickets for visitors and check in members and visitors using the golf course.
• Preparation of hot beverages.
• Replenish stocks within shop area as required.
• Ensure the shop is kept clean and presentable
• Golf driving range attendant duties.
• Take telephone bookings for tee times

Skills and Experience Required
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Work well independently and also as part of a team.
• Golf playing knowledge an advantage
• Previous cash handling experience would be an advantage.
• The ideal candidate will have good communication, organisation, and IT skills and be able to use their initiative
• Physically fit as some manual handling jobs required

Training will be provided. Perks: Free use of golf course and golf driving range, golf equipment at cost price plus VAT, Free hot drinks whilst on duty.

Part-time hours available: Saturday and Sunday 12 mid-day to 5pm, Friday 4pm to 7pm, with additional hours available to provide cover for staff holidays etc.    
Paid at £13.50 per hour.
